The video game discographies of Spotify and Apple Music just got significantly better outside Japan today, with the addition of soundtracks from Persona Series.
These soundtracks include music from Persona 2, Persona 3, Persona 4and Persona 5as well as music from derivative games like Persona Q and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. There are even some live albums from when the shows were something that people could safely watch.
AniPlaylist, the music curation service that first spotted the soundtracks, joined a huge Spotify playlist to make it easier for people who don’t speak Japanese to find specific albums and songs. While there are many good things to choose from here, I have included some of my favorites below.

Of course, much like the Capcom and Final fantasy before them, listening to these tracks in full requires an active subscription.
It is difficult to argue against the excellence of Persona music, even if you’re not a fan of your kind of school-based role-playing. Each soundtrack is a great mix of intense battle themes, melancholy piano melodies and ethereal soundscapes, making them great background music for just about any situation. Do yourself a favor and play some of these songs during your workday.
