Valve refuses to sell FMV’s Super Seducer 3 game on Steam • Eurogamer.net

Valve will not sell Super Seducer 3 on Steam.

The company has now kicked the page Super Seducer 3 Steam, which has accumulated almost 62,000 wish lists, from its platform.

Super Seducer 3 is an FMV game where you use multiple choice methods to win meetings with women.

Developer Richard La Ruina tweeted the news along with a screenshot of Valve’s explanation.

According to the message, Valve explained: “Steam does not send sexually explicit images of real people.”

It appears that La Ruina exchanged ideas with Valve prior to that final decision, and changed the game in certain ways, according to the advice of a lawyer in an attempt to secure his release.

In another image showing his response to Valve, La Ruina offered to remove all uncensored feedback clips from the game, saying, “Please give us another chance.”

But it seems that Valve does not move. The company replied, “We are not going to sell the game or review it again.”

The first Super Seducer game, which came out in 2018, and its sequel remain on Steam.

The intended release date for the Super Seducer 3 was February 15, but it was postponed while Valve was reviewing the product.

A demo of the game was released as part of the first Steam Game Festival of 2021 last month, but it was live for just an hour before it was taken off the air. According to La Ruina, Steam warned him that if he resubmitted a censored compilation of the game, they would consider its release. Clearly, this did not work.

This is not the first time that the launch of Super Seducer 3 has been declined. According to a month of February tweet de La Ruina, Epic and GOG “said no”. In 2018, the first game had its launch for PlayStation withdrawn.
