Valorant leak reveals Agent 14 skills, official name “Yoru”

Valorant cosmetics abound and they only get better the more Radianite Points (RP) you put on them. Raising the level of weapons can be difficult, but there are a few ways to speed up the process to start adding talent to your arsenal.

Riot is constantly adding several unexpected skin collections to Valorant. No matter how premium they are, a pocket full of RP can take your weapon skins to another level of polish.

Unfortunately, there are only a few ways to get PR in Valorant. As such, the search for the coveted currency is summarized in the immediate purchase of Valorant Points (VP) or in the Battle Pass in each Act to maximize your gains.

To really get the math right about how much RP you will need to level up a weapon quickly, you need to know how much it will take to completely finish a weapon. That’s where we come in!

Some weapon skins in Valorant can be upgraded to make them look completely different.

Why do I want to level my weapons?

As you inject RP into a single weapon, you begin to unlock exotic effects for the skins you’ve already purchased, giving your weapons even more style.

Finishers, variants and even special animations are available for some weapon collections in Valorant that blow the standard style out of the water.

They are an incredible way to face your enemies, as well as showing how dedicated you are to living the Valorant lifestyle.

How do I level my weapons?

To start the leveling process, navigate to the top of the main menu of Valorant to the ‘Collection’ tab. You will see all of your weapons arranged.

Unfortunately, not all weapons can level up, but you can easily check which ones do so by scrolling through the cosmetics and seeing which ones have a panel to change in PR for updates.

Level 1 is the base skin, and from there you have the option to spend 10 RP to go to VFX at level 2, an animation at level 3 and finally the finisher at level 4, before unlocking the color variants.

You can spend RP on some Valorant collections to give them more talent.

How much RP is needed to upgrade Valorant weapons?

Each level of a weapon costs up to 10 RP. The basic level will give you a simple VFX upgrade that will adorn your weapon’s skin and unlock the next level above it.

The second and third levels provide animations and a finisher, bringing the total cost of leveling the weapon to 30 RP. But when you reach that stage, if the skin in question has color variations, you will have the chance to buy one for 15 RP each.

If we put it all together, each weapon in Valorant takes 30 RP to level up completely, but 75 RP in total if we want to also include the three different variants.

How to increase your RP: VP of purchases

Let’s get the ugly truth out of the way: if you want to upgrade your weapons quickly, you need to spend some money on Valorant. The conversion distribution for VP in PR It’s:

  • 1600VP to 20 RP
  • 2800 VP to 40 RP
  • 4800 VP to 80 RP

At the moment, it takes about $ 20 to get 2050 VP, which can barely convert to 20 RP, also known as two weapon levels or a color variant.

If we continue up the ladder, it means that you will need to buy a $ 20 and $ 10 USD VP package to barely get 40 RP, leaving you with about 35 RP left before completing a single weapon.

You can convert VP to RP, which can be used to quickly update Valorant weapon skins.

How to increase your RP: Battlepass

Buying your RP is not a fun option, so a ‘cheaper’ way would be to use the Battle Pass, which costs 1000 VP, or $ 10 USD. So, the long routine begins to really complete its progression throughout the season.

After finishing the Battle Pass, you must have 150 RP to play. If we go back to our previous calculations, it means that you can quickly increase the level of two different weapons.

Since Riot has introduced only premium cosmetics for weapons and not agents or other accessories, all of its efforts can be directed to increasing the level of its weapon collection.

While there is a lot of room for improvement in the system to reward more PR in Valorant in general, using the Battle Pass and making the most of your coins will help to increase the level of your arsenal.

These are the two main ways to quickly increase the level of your weapons. While the first may just be an option for big spenders, the second is a really easy way to get some amazing new cosmetics. Not only that, it means that you can play more Valorant, and what could be wrong with that?
