NEWPORT, NH – Lorraine (Chartrand) Coffin, 75, ex-Newport, NH died on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Concord Hospital after health problems.

She was born on May 13, 1945, to Bernice and Emile Chartrand. She graduated from Towle High School in 1963.

Lorraine was a resident of Sullivan County Health Care last year.

She was killed by her husband, Robert Coffin and her daughter, Rita Stone.

She worked at Sportwell Shoes Company as a seamstress, at Tambrands as a forklift operator and at Disney in Florida as a security officer for many years.

Lorraine liked to do counted cross stitching, reading and puzzles. She loved bird watching and loved her many dogs that she had throughout her life. When she was younger, she loved riding horses.

The family includes his son, Scott Stone and his wife, Cassie, from South Carolina; her sister, Dolores Chartrand of Newport and Shirley Fisher of Newport, who was like a sister to her. Many grandchildren, cousins ​​and friends.

A funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s cemetery on June 1 at 11:00 am.
