Valheim update patch notes: larger reinforced chests, camp fires

Nothing in Valheim it’s just as important as efficiently organized storage, and it’s getting a little easier due to the latest patch. On Tuesday, developer Iron Gate Studio released a new patch for the game that increases storage space for certain chests and campfires, along with dozens of other changes.

The most convenient change in the new patch increases the size of the reinforced chests inventory. ValheimThe largest and most expensive chests used to give players 18 inventory slots, but now offer 24, adding an extra row of storage.

This may not seem like a big change if you just started your Viking adventure, but the amount of stuff you need to store can get pretty ridiculous as you progress through the game, which makes these more efficient chests a huge convenience.

Another change that came with this latest patch is a nerf for campfires, campfires and homes. But they were not nerfed as comfort items, they were nerfed as weapons. Now, whenever one of these fire items deals damage, it takes damage as well. This means that if players are using their shots offensively, those shots will be destroyed instead of burning their target indefinitely. This means that the popular way of raising gray dwarfs, surrounding their nest with campfires to kill them as soon as they spawn, should no longer be possible.

To take a look at all the changes that have arrived in the latter Valheim patch you can check the complete patch notes.
