Valheim Player rebuilds Skyrim’s High Hrothgar in game

A player from Valheim recreated The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s High Hrothgar Monastery in the open world survival title, and it is largely impressive.

ONE Valheim player had time to recreate Skyrimin High Hrothgar monastery in the game, and it is nothing short of an impressive sight. Although it came to Steam Early Access this month, Valheim is already conquering the world. In less than three weeks of availability on the platform, the Iron Gate developer survival title managed to sell an impressive three million units.

With an experience of 1 to 10 players, the game places warriors killed in battle in the 10th Nordic kingdom of Valheim to resist hostile elements and defeat the mythical creatures that roam there. There is even more than that, however, as players can also create and build anything from weapons and ice arrows to fermenters and roads. Valheim players are also becoming more and more creative, putting the various title systems to the test.

Reddit user McBadWord went further when it came to putting Valheim’s construction and mechanical construction for good use. Not content with simply building a house or road system, the player completely recreated the sanctuary of High Hrothgar – home to the Greybeards in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. At the Skyrim, High Hrothgar sits on the top of the highest mountain in Tamriel and is accessible via the Seven Thousand Steps surrounding this mountain. McBadWord seems to have followed the site specifications as closely as possible with his tribute in Valheim. Even the interior areas show remarkable attention to detail.

The dedication and care that fans put into projects like this never cease to amaze. What Valheim has spurred that level of creativity less than three weeks after its Early Access launch is also praised. It is also important to note that the role of High Hrothgar as a basis for such dedication is especially appropriate, given Skyrim’s influence on Valheim’s development.

Iron Gate developer released Valheim on Steam Early Access earlier this month, a status that is expected to maintain throughout this year. At the moment, there is no word on when exactly the studio will release the cooperative survival title in its entirety, but players don’t have to worry about Iron Gate’s commitment to the project. Several important updates are planned over the Valheim’s Early access period, including those that add moon phases, sandbox mode, an entirely new biome and a number of unspecified combat improvements.
