Valheim’s Iron Gate studio shared an enigmatic teaser image showing the game’s first major update, entitled Hearth and Home.
Celebrating sales of 6 million units sold, Iron Gate has released an update for the development of Steam on Hearth and Home. The studio did not give details about the release of the update, but said it managed to gradually change the features of bug fixes and execution tests for development in Hearth and Home.
“Many of you got in touch and asked about the script. How’s ‘Hearth and Home’ going? A lot of our focus has been on testing games and fixing bugs, but as things are calming down since the release, we can spend more time working on our first major update! “reads a section of the development update.
So, although we don’t know when it will arrive, it seems that the development of the update is accelerating. To hold us back until launch, the developers revealed a small image of the Hearth and Home teaser that you can check out and expand below:
As for what is included in the Valheim fireplace and home update, Iron Gate confirmed that, as you might expect, the new content focuses primarily on building and customizing homes. In a recent interview with our friends at PC Gamer, Iron Gate co-founder Henrik Tornqvist said Hearth and Home will include “more building parts and things to do in and around the house”.
If you like making food in Valheim more than building houses, it looks like there are also a few things in store for you in the next patch. “It will probably be very focused on the food preparation aspect of the game, with more recipes and things like that,” continued Tornqvist.
