Valheim crafting progression guide
The way this Valheim craft progression guide works is by listing the main components you need to find in order to unlock all crafable items and objects in the game. Follow our instructor on how to obtain each one and you will slowly make your way through Valheim, taking down the bosses as you go. 1. Wood

This is what you need for all bronze weapons and armor, along with the important Cultivator, used for agriculture. You can only start mining copper and tin when you defeat Eikthyr, the first boss.

6. Male / Fine Wood
The central wood can be found exclusively in pines in the Black Forest, while fine wood is found exclusively in birches and oaks in Meadows. Both are used for crucial construction parts and tools, including portals.

7. Iron
Iron scrap can be found in Muddy Scrap Piles in the Swamp biome, which is where you’ll need to go after defeating the second boss, The Elder. I cast it to make Iron, which is a step above Bronze and is used for all types of weapons, armor and tools.

8. Silver
