Valerie Bertinelli shares Betty White’s hilarious bloopers in honor of her 99th birthday

Valerie Bertinelli is giving fans a great gift in honor of Betty White’s 99th birthday!

O Hot in cleveland the actress shared a hilarious roll of mistakes starring her co-actor White on Sunday, which was also White’s landmark day.

“Betty’s bloopers are the best. 🤣 I LOVE YOU Betty White! Happy Birthday, my dear lady! ♥ ️”, wrote Bertinelli in the post, which showed nine minutes of footage of his time on set with White and his assistants.

In his own birthday celebration post, White said, “Do you believe it? It’s my 99th birthday, which means I can stay up as long as I want without asking.”

Throughout the day, White also received several affectionate birthday messages from his famous friends.

“I still get hot when I see that look”, Mary Tyler Moore cost Ed Asner I wrote in an extra sweet tribute next to a photo of the couple. “Happy 99 baby. You are a proof of living life on your own terms. Sending you a big socially distanced kiss. I love you.”

Ellen DeGeneres too sent White a commemorative message. “Happy birthday, @BettyMWhite! You are a miracle in every way,” wrote the talk show host on Twitter.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, before her birthday, White shared tips on how she can always stay positive and find the good in life.

“I don’t like the other side,” said White. “The upside is a lot more fun.”

With a career spanning over eight decades and counting, including positions in The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls, in addition to numerous appearances on talk shows and games, White has become an example of how to live well and live long.

“I am blessed with good health,” she said, “so turning 99 is no different than turning 98.”

White also told People that although her birthday is low this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, she is looking forward to “visiting close friends and bringing food to my animal friends” once normal life begins again.

And as the beloved icon approaches the mark of the century, she shares the one thing that keeps her alive: “a sense of humor”.

“Don’t take yourself too seriously,” she said. “You can lie to others – not that I lied – but you cannot lie to yourself.”
