The complete attack rotation in Pokémon GOThe Valentine’s Day event, along with our tips, is as follows:

Row one

  • Espurr
  • Feebas – Bright ability, increased odds
  • Illumise – Brilliant ability, standard odds
  • Munna
  • Ralts – Brilliant ability, standard odds
  • Volbeat – brilliant ability, standard odds

Nothing too crazy here. If you do not have a Shiny Feebas, it has an increased Shiny rate, but it is not very unusual in nature during events. I suggest you save your passes because, if you are a long-time player, you will have no problem adding the purple fish to your collection. Munna is a species to be pursued if you want one with an intravenous floor, but it will be available in the wild.

Layer Three

  • Alomomola – brilliantly capable, odds still unknown
  • Espeon
  • Gardevoir
  • Gallade
  • Togetic
  • Umbreon

Alomomola in raids is a good shot in a very rare species, even without its release of Shiny, but Niantic pulled a fast one and in fact secretly launched Shiny Alomomola for the event. Currently, it is expected to be available only on raids and tasks.

Tier Five

  • Latias – Brilliant ability, legendary standard odds of approximately one in 20
  • Latios – Brilliant ability, legendary standard odds of approximately one in 20

The Dragon / Psychic-types twins continue their Tier Five reign, and we still have a long time to go after them. Although the Valentine’s Day event ends on Thursday, Latias / os will not leave until Saturday, February 20, at the beginning of Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto, a time when the legendary birds and Mewtwo will take over.

Mega Raids

  • Mega Ampharos – Bright capacity, standard Mega Raid odds of approximately one in 60
  • Mega Gyarados – Bright capacity, standard Mega Raid odds of approximately one in 60
  • Mega Pidgeot – Brightness capability, standard Mega Raid odds of approximately one in 60

This continues from the previous rotation and probably the most useful in the long run here will be Gyarados. Remember, however, that the Lunar New Year event gave us Mega Gyarados energy for free through Timed Search.

Whatever invasions you end up doing, good luck, buddy Pokémon GO coaches!
