State reports 901 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday.
The Utah Department of Health reported 10 more deaths from COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total to 1,806 since the pandemic began.
Six of the deaths occurred before February 1. And the only death reported on Tuesday was removed after health officials determined the victim was not a Utah resident.
UDOH also reported 901 new cases of coronavirus, on the third consecutive day that number was below 1,000.

Salt Lake County reported three deaths – a woman aged 45-64, a man over 85 and a woman over 85.
There were two deaths in Davis County – both men over 85.
And there were two deaths in Washington County – a man and a woman, both over the age of 85.
Three counties reported a single death – a 65-84-year-old woman in Cache County, a 65-84-year-old man in Carbon County and a 65-84-year-old man in Utah County.
Hospitalizations reported the previous day • 263. This is nine below Tuesday. Of those currently hospitalized, 99 are in intensive care units – seven fewer than on Tuesday.
Tests reported the day before • 7,063 people were tested for the first time. A total of 20,286 people were tested.
Percentage of positive tests • In the original state method, the rate is 12.8%. This is less than the seven-day average of 13.5%.
His new method counts all test results, including repeated tests from the same individual. Today’s rate is at 4.4%, below the 6.13% 7-day average.
Totals to date • 363,248 cases; 1,806 deaths; 14,294 hospitalizations; 2,136,588 people tested.
