The Utah Department of Health reported an increase of 3,318 cases of COVID-19 – bringing the state total to 288,951 – and seven additional deaths on Tuesday.

UDOH received confirmation that 55,981 doses of COVID-19 vaccination were administered in Utah.
The state’s seven-day continuous average for positive tests is 2,800 per day, and the seven-day continuous average for the percentage of positive tests is 32.14%.

510 people in Utah are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
With the additional deaths below, 1,312 people in Utah died from COVID-19:
- Male, between 65 and 84 years old, resident in Weber County, hospitalized at the time of death
- Male, between 45 and 64 years old, resident in Salt Lake County, hospitalized at the time of death
- Male, 65-84, Washington County resident, hospitalized at death
- Male, 65 to 84 years old, resident in Utah County, hospitalized at the time of death
- Woman, over 85, resident in Washington County, not hospitalized at the time of death
- Male, 65-84, resident of Davis County, hospitalized at the time of death
- Woman, over 85, resident in Washington County, not hospitalized at the time of death
