How long should a family wait? According to the bill itself, $ 300 for each child under the age of six and $ 250 for children ages 6 to 17.

This is monthly.

The stimulus project authorizes the payment, officially considered a tax credit, for a period of one year; but Congressional Democrats and President Joe Biden say they intend to make them permanent.
