
Chief McNeill Jr. suffered a heart attack after
a canceled call

The United States Fire Department announced the official death on service of Chief William “Eddie” Edward McNeill, Jr., 69, of the Campobello Fire Department on March 4, 2021.
On Thursday, March 4, 2021, Chief William Edward “Eddie” McNeill, Jr., was responding to a fire in a residential structure when the call was canceled en route. Later, Chief McNeill, while having dinner with his wife in a restaurant, suffered a heart attack and passed away.
