US stock futures stable in early 2021 trading

US stock market futures were flat on Sunday, the first trading day of the new year.

US stocks closed higher on Thursday, the last trading day of 2020, with the Dow and S&P 500 setting new records, as investors emerged from a wild year that saw stocks collapse in a bear market before to recover to historic highs.
