Uppena has been making a lot of noise since its launch. The film that marks the debut of mega-hero Vaisshnav Tej is positioned as a tender youth love story. However, the trailer promises much more than a romantic drama.
The trailer begins with a mixture of love between Aasi (Vaisshnav) and Sangeetha, also known as Bebamma (Krithi Shetty). Sethupathi is Rayanam, Sangeetha’s father. Aasi and Devamma’s love does not go well with Rayanam. Uppena is about how the pair fights against all odds. Will Aasi and Sangeetha’s love have a happy ending? Or not?
Trailer promises that the film has numerous emotions. It is Vijay Sethupathi who dominated the show. Sethupathi’s intense and powerful portrait as Rayanam transforms this drama of adolescent love and makes it bigger and more attractive. The trailer is in place. The creators are honest about the genre and the story they chose. The camaraderie and chemistry of lead duo Vaisshnav and Krithi Shetty seem to have worked well.
Director Buchi Babu Sana, Sukumar’s protégé, created the magic to match the hype and expectations surrounding the film. Devi Sri Prasad’s music complements the stunning look. The trailer features rich visuals and great camera shots. Director of photography Shamdat deserves a pat on the back. Congratulations to the producers who spent abundantly with the new arrivals, despite the market. Overall, Uppena’s trailer looks like a perfect debut for Vaisshnav, Krithi and Buchi Babu. Uppena will hit the screens on February 12, 2021.
