[Updated] Stable update check for Samsung Galaxy S10 One UI 3.0 (Android 11) …

New updates are being added at the end of this story …….

The original story (published on January 30, 2021) follows:

It seems that the days when Samsung was one of the slowest Android vendors to release software updates are long gone, as the South Korean giant launched Android 11 for several smartphones.

More recently, the company has started to seed Android 11 for the economical Galaxy M21 and Galaxy F41 in India.

Like most Android software updates, One UI 3.0 is being implemented for devices in stages. Therefore, the update is not available to users worldwide at once.

Instead, certain regions receive updates before others, and the implementation may take a few weeks or even months to complete.

Samsung normally sows updates to users in Europe or in their home country – South Korea – before other countries. However, in a surprising turn of events, the company has yet to release Android 11 with One UI 3.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10 variants in Korea.

In late December, we highlighted a comment from the mod claiming that the company is having trouble launching the One UI 3.0 beta for Samsung Galaxy S10 models in Korea.

So far, Samsung has not shared the exact details of why the S10 series update was delayed in Korea.

However, it may be partially related to why the company recently retired and relaunched the Android 11 update to the Galaxy S10 series around the world.

But it seems that the wait for the update to Android 10 may end soon for users of Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 in Korea.

This is because a Samsung moderator on the company’s community forums shared some positive information about the status of the update (translated from Korean):

According to the moderator, the One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 for the Samsung Galaxy S10 is currently under verification.

As for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, the One UI 3.0 (Android 11) update check was successful. Therefore, users can expect to get the stable update soon.

In a separate comment, the same moderator also stated that, since the upgrade to Note 10 has been successfully verified, they are relieved and expect the same to be the case for the Galaxy S10 series.

The S10 series is still partially validated, so we will notify you after checking progress next week. The N10 series went well with the check yesterday afternoon, so I am also leaving some concerns about the S10 series. We are doing our best to distribute the full version of Android 11 as soon as possible. (Source)

According to the mod’s comments, more details about the availability of Android 11 or One UI 3.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10 in Korea should be available next week.

As usual, we will post an update as soon as new details about Android 11 availability for S10 and Note 10 devices appear.

In the meantime, stay tuned to our dedicated tracker to learn more about the status of One UI 3.0 for all Samsung qualified devices.

According to the mod, the update will start rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G first and beta users will have priority.

The beta program for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ also ended in the country and the stable update was sent to users who were in the beta program. The stable update is available with build number EUA3.
