Updated Indianapolis Colts draft order after compensatory choices

The Indianapolis Colts did not receive any compensatory choice for the 2021 draft of the NFL, but their order of selections was affected by the new choices coming to other teams.

Now, we know exactly where the Colts will be choosing, except for any changes, when the draft arrives in late April.

Here is a look at the updated draft of the Colts selection order for the 2021 draft of the NFL:

  • Round 1: General No. 21
  • Round 2: No. 54 overall
  • Round 4: No. 127 overall
  • Round 5: No. 165 overall
  • Round 6: No. 204 overall
  • Round 7: No. 247 overall

The Colts have their regular share of choices out of the choice of the third round that they sent to the Philadelphia Eagles as part of the exchange for quarterback Carson Wentz. This deal becomes official on Wednesday at 4 pm Eastern time.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Chris Ballard step back in the first round to get another choice from the third round in the draft, seeing how much he likes choices.

But now we have a clear picture of what the road to Ballard will look like and its number of choices in April.
