Doing like Stardew Valley
[Update: People Can Fly has applied a second update to the Outriders demo in response to complaints about the first. As noted by Eurogamer, the Gauss boss chest will have a chance of dropping Legendary items once again. Ledge gear will remain absent from other chests.]
Many people have enjoyed the People Can Fly team shooter demo Outriders, with an incredible two million players repeatedly battling the wastelands of the planet Enoch.
In fact, people watched the demonstration Many At times, they are beginning to build a worryingly powerful arsenal of weaponry – so much so that the developer is interfering to alter the ease with which mercenaries can bag this devastating firepower. The concern is that this intense method of “cultivating” top-tier equipment and weapons will leave players fully prepared for the bear when the main game finally arrives, and make them defeat opponents non-stop during the main campaign.
Speaking in an official Reddit post, People Can Fly noted that it is right for the player to play the demo as many times as they want, bagging all the goodies they can along the way, but that this can serve to hinder your enjoyment of the main game, which will allow players to carry their inventory and demo edition levels.
The new update – which will air on Outriders demo today – will remove all chances of finding legendary equipment in chests, stores and vendors, even though they will they remain as rewards for completing side missions or as exceptionally lucky items for defeated enemies. People Can Fly hopes that this will reduce the chance of the whole community swinging for Schwarzenegger-like Outriders getting ready on the beach in Command.
