Update on whether Peacock will display ads during WWE PPVs

After speaking with a Peacock PR representative, PWInsider reported that no commercial breaks will be entered during the next WWE PPVs.

Sunday Fastlane PPV will be the first WWE PPV on Peacock, and will also be broadcast on the WWE Network. As observed, WrestleMania 37 (April 10 and 11) is set to be the first WWE PPV to broadcast exclusively on Peacock in the USA

WWE was officially launched on Peacock earlier this week with some new episodes and series coming out (schedule here).

The report also noted that WWE content that it broadcasts on demand will include advertisements.

There is a $ 9.99 Peacock Premier Plus package that has no ads, but it is unclear whether WWE’s on-demand programming will still have ads in that category or not. In an article by Variety, it has been reported that Peacock displays only five minutes of ads per hour of content.

The entire WWE library is expected to be available before SummerSlam at the end of August. The WWE Network will no longer be available to US customers as of Monday, April 5.
