Genshin impact upcoming major update releases on March 17th and with him comes the start of a new event, the Windblume Festival, bringing new minigames, a new playable character, the opportunity to go out with selected characters and some changes in the quality of life.
The news comes vwould be a post on the PlayStation Blog announcing the update and several details about it. Update 1.4 shows the beginning of the Windblume Festival, which is described as “a cultural celebration of romance and passion”. After the update is live, players who have reached the 20th rank of adventure and completed the “Song of the Dragon and Liberty” mission will be invited to this festival of love and passion. During the event, players will be able to spend a “special time” together with Barbara, Noelle, Bennett and Chongyun. During these dates, you will have to make different choices to reach different endings.
In addition, as part of the festivities, three new mini-games will be available: Bullseye Balloons, Floral Freefall and Ballads of Breeze. The mini-game will have four levels of difficulty and most can be played alone or in cooperation. As you complete these mini-games, you earn tickets that can be used for new rewards, including materials to increase the level of talent, as well as two new gadgets.
Rosaria “Thorny Benevolence”, a new playable 4-star character, will be added to Impact Genshin during update 1.4. Here’s what Zhenzhong Yi, the Technical Director of the Studio at Impact Genshin the developer miHoYo, had to say about this new character:
“Rosaria is a sister to the Church of Favonius that players may have already encountered during their adventures with Albedo in Dragonspine. Having a Cryo vision, Rosaria is a powerful gunpowder bearer with an elemental ability that allows her to instantly shift behind her enemy, piercing and cutting them to deal Cryo damage. Her Elemental Blast allows her to attack with a powerful blow, inflicting massive Cryo damage and summoning a cold Ice Spear that inflicts continuous Cryo damage to nearby enemies. “
Finally, two minor changes are being implemented with the 1.4 update. Players will now be able to keep five Condensed Resins in their inventory. And people will be able to lower the world level in both cooperative and single-player mode.
