Can you believe it is already March? The nights are getting lighter for longer, the daffodils are in bloom, there are many things to be optimistic about next month … not least the next list of games for the Nintendo Switch.
February was a great month with the wonderful Super Mario 3D World + Bowser Fury, Persona 5 attackers and Bravely Default II, but we have many other amazing games to expect, including, of course, Monster Hunter Rise.

The next Marvelous chapter in the Story of Seasons life / farm series will put you to work growing a farm near the main port of Olive Town. The game promises more customization options and more freedom than ever to help you live your best life, plus many other wedding candidates, of course, and you’ll have your work cut out to make space in the forest for your new home and cultivating all the abundant natural wonders nearby.
Described as “a new approach to the Monster Hunter experience”, up to four players can come together and save the Kamura village from the impending ‘Rampage’, taking advantage of the new Wirebug hunting tool and enlisting the help of Palicoes and Palamutes, along the way . The ‘Rise’ in the title is apparently a reference to the verticality of this entrance, with the ability to cross and climb rocks and other terrain that will make hunting even more interesting.

New Pokémon Snap is a brand new adventure inspired by the classic Nintendo 64 game, Pokémon Snap. In the game, you will photograph wild Pokémon animated in their natural habitats while researching and exploring unknown islands. Using your trusted travel pod, you’ll travel through a variety of environments, such as beaches, jungles and deserts, to capture Pokémon behaviors never seen before. Fans of the original N64 game will no doubt be looking forward to buying this one in late April.
