Augusta GreenJackets is holding a Mega Chicken Promotion on Friday, January 29, at SRP Park. It is only an advance order and orders must be placed on January 24th. Customers must order, pay and choose a pick-up time in advance. Orders will be available for pick-up from noon at 6 pm on Friday, January 29, during the collection period designated for each customer (15-minute window). O North Augusta Mother Club will make a blood donation from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, January 30th. The bloodmobile will be located in the Hammond Hill pool at 145 Cypress Drive, North Augusta. Masks are required to donate. If the donor does not have a mask, it will be provided. Photo identification is required.

The American Pickers television program is looking to connect with people in South Carolina with a large private collection or accumulation of antiques that Pickers can spend most of the day looking at. There will be a meeting of the Aiken County Board of Disabilities and the Tri-Development Center board at 6:30 pm on Thursday, February 4, 5080 Jefferson Davis Highway, Beech Island.

Grace United Methodist Church is conducting a Valentine Jam family event from noon to 2pm. February 6. The event will include prepackaged s’mores, a campfire, photo booth, stone painting and spiritual walk. The event will be held at The Way on the corner of Sweetwater and Randall Road. Tickets cost $ 25 to $ 50 and can be purchased online at usca.edu/etherredge-center or by calling the box office at 803-641-3305. The performance is part of the Cultural Series 2020-2021.

O Anderson & Roe Piano Duo’s the performance scheduled for Sunday, March 7, as part of the Joye in Aiken Festival in 2021, has been postponed and is in the process of being rescheduled.

“Dar He: The Story of Emmett Till,” written by and starring Mike Wiley, it will be presented at 7:30 pm on Thursday, March 18, at the USC Aiken Etherredge Center, 471 University Parkway. Tickets cost $ 25 to $ 50 and can be purchased online at usca.edu/etherredge-center or by calling the ticket office at 803-641-3305. The presentation is part of the Cultural Series 2020-2021 and was only possible thanks to a partnership with the Center for African American History, Art and Culture.
