Recent leaks from Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6 seem to suggest a huge open world and an announcement soon, but they have no credibility.
Leaks for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 they have appeared everywhere, although, as to whether they were real, everything was a resounding “no”. Rockstar doesn’t have much incentive to do Grand Theft Auto 6 now given GTA 5The persistent success of and even if it virtually guarantees that no real leaks or announcements will happen anytime soon, some people still take the opportunity to troll any diehard fan.
Okay, some of those same diehard fans are scouring Grand Theft Auto 5 and even Red Dead Redemption 2 looking for any potential tips or Easter eggs that Rockstar may have left on the spot. To be fair, these specific leaks emerged on March 29, three days before April Fool’s Day, so it wouldn’t be too unusual for a person to intentionally fake the leaks. Anyway, they don’t come with much evidence to support them, so fans and players should consider them with a heavy dose of salt.
The biggest claim of the leaks is a fully realized “Project America”, which would allow the player to travel to five different cities, with a sixth city currently under development. The new map also apparently includes the current map of Grand Theft Auto 5. The leak also claims that Grand Theft Auto 6 it is finished and may be arriving much sooner than previously thought The poster ends with an attempt to “get ready”.
Dedicated followers of the leaks that surround Grand Theft Auto 6 you will probably remember the title “Project America” of leaks that emerged in 2019. These leaks, in addition to presenting more than one city, also introduced the possibility of a female protagonist. Of course, a lot of leaks around that have been confirmed to be fake, and since Rockstar is not going to open the curtain anytime soon, it’s best to consider this as it probably is – a joke from early April.
That said, Rockstar is taking too long to properly advertise Grand Theft Auto 6 it’s not a bad thing. With the rocky launch of the expected competitor Cyberpunk 2077 launching the CD Projekt Red in a sea of complaints and refunds, fans already want Rockstar to take the time to do Grand Theft Auto 6. Part of what contributed to the launch’s failure was the announcement almost a decade earlier, so chances are that Rockstar wants to avoid such a scenario altogether.
