Undefeated Clemson Reaches the Top 25 in AP Basketball | South Carolina

COLOMBIA – Clemson’s early season did not go unnoticed.

The Tigers (5-0) jumped from receiving seven votes last week to 24th in this week’s AP Top 25 male. Clemson defeated Maryland and Alabama last week and has already established a reputation for stifling defense.

South Carolina (4-1) took 5th place in this week’s AP Top 25 for women, after being idle last week for exams. Gamecocks return to action on Thursday against Temple, then are stopped until December 31, when they start playing at the conference.
