So far, everything is fine for the first 2021 UFC card.
All 22 fighters who stepped on the scale at Friday’s official weigh-in weighed in successfully for UFC Fight Island 7, which takes place Saturday at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.
The protagonists of the featherweight, Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar, used the permission of half a kilo for fights outside the title, weighing 146 kilos. This is Holloway’s first untitled fight since June 2016.
In the main co-fight, Carlos Condit and Matt Brown also successfully hit the welterweight mark, with the two fighters reaching 171 pounds. The fight marks Condit’s 18th participation in the UFC, while Brown walks to the octagon for the 27th time.
