UFC 259 takes place on Saturday night at UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The loaded card is led by a trio of championship fights, with the candidacy of middleweight champion Israel Adesanya to become the champion of two divisions by challenging light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz in the main event.
Amanda Nunes makes her return to the octagon in the main co-event, while the champion of the two divisions seeks to defend her 145-pound title against rising contender Megan Anderson. Nunes has fought only once in the past 15 months due to minor injuries, COVID-19 protocols and the birth of his first child. In addition, the first tilt of the title to kick off the action will make bantamweight champion Petr Yan make his first defense of the 135-pound belt against challenger Aljamain Sterling.
The main card action starts at 22:00 GMT, and will air live on ESPN + PPV.
