Ubisoft evaluates Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village with Eivor from Assassin’s Creed

Earlier this month, Capcom revealed the official height of Lady Dimitrescu, one of the main antagonists of Resident Evil Village. At 9’6, the character dominates the protagonist Ethan Winters, as well as almost all other video game heroes, including the protagonists of the Assassin’s Creed franchise! On Twitter, Ubisoft posted an image of Dimitrescu, comparing his height to that of Eivor and Basim of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Dimitrescu’s stature made her dear to a good part of the Resident Evil fan base, and it seems that Ubisoft was very eager to get into the memes that have become increasingly common in the last month!

The Ubisoft Tweet can be found embedded below.

It may seem a little strange for Ubisoft to promote Capcom’s next entry into the Resident Evil franchise, but the two publishers seem to have a good relationship at the moment. This month, Ubisoft’s Division 2 has a related event that celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise. Until February 15, players can receive items based on the first three games in the Resident Evil franchise, including Leon S. Kennedy’s RPD outfit. It is somewhat unlikely that Resident Evil and Assassin’s Creed will end up having their own crossover, but it seems that everything is possible!

Outside of the character’s height, there is still a lot that Resident Evil fans don’t know about Lady Dimitrescu. The character and her daughters will have a central role in Resident Evil Village, and players will be forced to deal with them as they walk through Castle Dimitrescu. While the fan base clearly loves the villain at the moment, it remains to be seen whether this will be the case or not, once players are forced to deal with it. Of course, Eivor would probably have a much easier time dealing with the villain than Ethan!

Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. In the meantime, you can check out all of our previous coverage of the game here.
