KENOSHA, Wis. – Police say two people have been stabbed to death in Kenosha and one person is in custody.
The police responded to the stabbing scene around 4:20 am on Wednesday, which is about a kilometer north of where the protests took place hours earlier, after the prosecutor’s decision to accuse a white officer who shot a black man for back, partially paralyzing it.
Officer Nicole Kopp said the deaths did not appear to be related to the protests that followed the announcement made on Tuesday by the Kenosha county district attorney, which resulted in small peaceful demonstrations near the county court.
