MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Florida. – Two died after being wounded in a shootout on Friday in an apartment complex in the neighborhood of Gladeview in Miami-Dade County, police said.
Northside District officials from the Miami-Dade Police Department responded to Lincoln Fields Apartments at the corner of Northwest 20th Avenue and Northwest 64th Street.
The police found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Miami-Dade rescue personnel took him to the Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where a doctor declared him dead, police said.
A woman who was also injured in the shooting appeared at JMH’s Ryder Trauma Center, where a doctor also declared her dead, police said.
