Two restaurant employees in Connecticut were found dead in the building’s supply closet, a report said.
A third worker was hospitalized around noon on Monday after all three suffered apparent drug overdoses in the New Haven building, police told WTNH.
Two of them, in their 50s, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third man found in distress outside the warehouse was taken to the hospital.
The owner of Jack’s – the building’s restaurant – confirmed to the press that one of the deceased was an employee of the restaurant, while the other was a former worker.
The man at the hospital is also an employee of Jack, the report said.
The owner said he believed the trio invaded the room while the restaurant was closed.
Police do not suspect a crime, but are investigating whether a bad batch of drugs is circulating in the city, the report said.
