Jack Dorsey is putting his first tweet on sale like an NFT, a non-fungible token. The CEO of Twitter tweet – which says “just configuring my twttr” – will be 15 years old at the end of this month.
Dorsey announced the sale by linking to it in a tweet on Friday at around 4 pm PT. Just over an hour and a half later, the highest bid on the NFT was $ 110,000.
An NFT is a cryptographic token that is gaining popularity among artists and musicians. Digital assets are stored on the blockchain. THE Kings of Leon is selling its latest album as an NFT, and Christie’s is in the middle of its first NFT auction.
