The twin cities are set for another round of snow this weekend, although it is not likely to be as much as seen last Saturday.
The National Meteorological Service currently has the Twin Cities metro rated as having 1-2 inches of snow, with 2-3 inches defined to reach the southern parts of the state.

But Bring Me The News meteorologist Sven Sundgaard has twin cities gaining more space, with 2-3 inches possible, with a landing of up to 4 inches in the south of the state.
If that’s the case, expect the southern suburbs to have the best chance of 7 inches of snow.
Furthermore, Sven says the coming week is also looking interesting, with the potential for a “big storm” over the course of the week, which will be followed by a “real cold” after what has been unusually mild winter.
Back this weekend, the NWS says that drivers can expect “light accumulations of ice” overnight from Friday to Saturday morning, which will change to snow in the afternoon.
“Roads and slippery surfaces are likely tonight and tomorrow,” he adds.
