TV ratings for Friday, March 12: ‘Oprah With Meghan and Harry’ Encore

In the most recent ratings for the TV show, the CBS encore on Friday nights in Oprah with Meghan and Harry added a further 3.1 million viewers in total to the coffers of the well-attended interview.

The original CBS Sunday broadcast of the headline-generated questions and answers garnered 17.8 million viewers in total, while across the pond on ITV drew 13.3 million. Overall, the special interview, until Tuesday, had about 50 million viewers.

For comparison, MacGyver and Magnum PI, which had its next episodes postponed to March 26, most recently had an average of 5.1 million viewers.

Leading out of Meghan and Harry rerun, a Clarice repeat made 1.5 thousand / 0.2 (versus Blue blood‘most recent 6.3 thousand / 0.5.)

Somewhere else:

ABC | Shark Tank (3.9 thousand / 0.6) fell, but still led on Friday in the demonstration, as well as in the total number of spectators.

NBC | The blacklist (3.2 thousand / 0.3) was stable.

FOX | Friday Night SmackDown (2 mil / 0.5) dipped.

The CW | Whose line drew 818K / 0.1, Penn & Teller made 728K / 0.1.
