TV broadcast map for the end of the season

Most of the country will have the opportunity to see the Green Bay Packers face the Chicago Bears at the end of the season at Soldier Field on Sunday.

Packers (12-3) and Bears (8-7) are scheduled to start at 3:25 pm at CT on FOX.

Here is the broadcast map for the late afternoon time slot on FOX, via 506sports.com:

The areas shaded in red will see the Packers and Bears.

While the other late afternoon games are mostly regional broadcasts, FOX clearly wanted to show the NFC North showdown to as many viewers as possible across the country. The outcome of the game will help shape the entire NFC playoff race. Packers can win seed number 1 at the conference with a win, while Bears can guarantee a playoff spot with a win.

The NFL put the Cowboys and Giants early on FOX, freeing a large audience across the country for late afternoon. And Vikings play Lions at noon, eliminating another major visualization conflict, especially in the upper midwest.

The Packers have played four of their last seven games this season during the 15:25 time period. They are 2-2 when playing games in the late afternoon in 2020.
