Cullowhee, NC – The Tuesday afternoon (December 29) non-conference women’s basketball game between Western Carolina and the state of South Carolina has been postponed due to COVID-19’s contact tracking consistent with the management’s requirements and guidelines. NCAA COVID-19.
In addition to the WCU game against SC State, the Bulldogs also announced the postponement of two dates at home for the MEAC conference against North Carolina A&T. A replacement date between WCU and SCSU has not been determined.
WCU is scheduled to return to action on Thursday, December 31, for a non-conference matinee on New Year’s Eve against Piedmont College. Delivery to Ramsey Center is scheduled for 1pm with live coverage by ESPN + (subscription required) and live statistics at CatamountSports.com.
