SCVCS also offers families an alternative to the traditional brick and mortar learning environment. Combining online instruction, a rigorous curriculum and the support of state-certified teachers, SCVCS provides students with the tools and resources they need to succeed.

The school enrollment season comes at a time when more than 70% of American parents agree that online education should be an ongoing option after the pandemic has subsided.

“Now, more than ever, SCVCS teachers and staff are committed to helping each student reach their full potential,” said SCVCS school principal, Dr. Cherry Daniel. “We invite you to join our exemplary online school and experience the next level of student success.”

SCVCS students at all levels of education receive a full workload in the main subjects of English / language arts, mathematics, science, history, art, music and physical education, as well as electives and international languages. SCVCS sponsors national honor societies in the main academic areas.

The school also offers professional apprenticeship courses in growing career fields, including, but not limited to: health, information technology, computer science, law enforcement and general administration. These courses help high school students to seek credentials that help them become more easily employable after graduation.

SCVCS teachers facilitate live interactive online classes, which allow students to enjoy a safe learning environment anywhere with an Internet connection. In addition to scheduled classes, teachers regularly communicate with students and families by phone and email to ensure that they are supported and properly challenged. Resources are available to help SCVCS students and families navigate the online learning experience.

Many families and students are choosing SCVCS because it provides an alternative to traditional brick and mortar education. Athletes, advanced students and all types of students can balance a full academic load with extracurricular activities or any other specialized needs. The SCVCS online platform offers students the opportunity to pursue academic goals in a supportive environment that recognizes their individual learning styles.
