Trump plans to launch social media platform, says consultant

Former President Trump is looking to launch his own social media platform in the coming months, his senior adviser Jason Miller said on Sunday on Fox News’ “#MediaBuzz”.

Miller told Fox News that he couldn’t say much more now, but said that “several companies” approached the former president and he held meetings on the subject in Mar-a-Lago. Miller suggested that Trump’s future social media platform will bring “tens of millions of people”.

“I think we will see President Trump returning to social media, probably in about two or three months here, with his own platform,” Miller told Fox News. “And this is something that I think will be the hottest ticket on social media, it will completely redefine the game, and everyone will be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does.”

Mr. Trump, who has has been permanently banned from his favorite Twitter platform since January, has sent some tweet-like statements through his office to reporters. The ex-president was banned from the platform after the Assault January 6 about Capitol and Mr. Trump’s false claims that the election was rigged.

The former president continues to incorrectly claim that he won, including in a statement on Saturday in which he said the election was “illegitimate”.
