President Trump and anyone else linked to the U.S. attack a year ago who killed a notorious Iranian general “will not be safe on Earth,” a senior Tehran official warned on Friday, according to a report.
Speaking in Tehran on Friday, Iran’s chief justice Ebrahim Raisi said that not even Trump was “immune to justice” for his role in the Baghdad attack that killed General Qasem Soleimani, Major General of the Revolutionary Guard Corps Islamic Iran, The Times of Israel reported.
“They will witness severe revenge,” Raisi said at the meeting at the University of Tehran, referring to Trump and U.S. military leaders. “What happened so far was just a glimpse.”
“Don’t assume that someone, like the President of America, who appeared as a murderer or ordered a murder, may be immune from justice being executed. Never,” Raisi continued. “Those who played a role in this murder and crime will not be safe on Earth.”

In addition, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the US in a Twitter post on Friday.
“By committing a cowardly act of terror against Gen Soleimani, the United States violated international law and the UN Charter in a flagrant violation of Iraqi sovereignty,” the post said. “… Iran will not rest until it brings those responsible to justice.”
Other Iranian leaders, including supreme Ayatollah leader Ali Khamenei, previously spoke of retribution for Soleimani’s death, the Times reported.
