Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio appeared on the nightly news for WCAX affiliate Burlington, Vermont CBS on Thursday to discuss the announcement that he and The Divided Sky Foundation purchased a substance abuse disorder treatment center ( LDS) in Ludlow, Vermont. Anastasio was asked when Phish will return to the stage. Trey’s response included word plans that are constantly discussed and he played with “a secret”. The guitarist continued, “I hope we are back soon.”
“Actually, I think it will happen,” said Trey of his and Phish’s return. “We have a lot of talk about it and the landscape is changing … slowly, but there is an end in sight, if everyone continues to take it seriously.”
“I cannot say any details, but I have I heard specific ”, joked Anastasio. “I have a secret.” He refused the offer of the presenter to “give some more news here”, but continued explaining that the band is “following the rules of COVID to the letter” and “waiting until this opportunity with the vaccine and everything, I hope until o … “At that point, Trey stopped sharing a specific time period. Phish will hit the road.
