Leftback surgery for quarterback Trevor Lawrence is in the books.

Lawrence was scheduled to have the labrum on his unstrung shoulder operated on by Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Tuesday and Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the operation came to an end. He cites a source who said the operation “went very well”.

Time will tell at that point. Lawrence is expected to be ready to go to the training camp in time, which might not have been the case if Lawrence waited to have the surgery until after Clemson’s Professional Day on March 11.

He moved the pitching session to last Friday in a decision that would have occurred after a conversation with Jaguar technician Urban Meyer. The Jaguars have the first choice in the 2021 draft and are expected to use that choice in Lawrence.
