Trent Williams is just a week away from becoming a free agent. Ideally, he hopes it doesn’t. He would like to stay with the Niners, who left for him in the last off-season during the draft. Coach Kyle Shanahan and 49ers would like to keep him in the squad. Fans would like to see Williams stay as well. The veteran striker quickly became a favorite of fans and the media.
Williams joined teammate Richard Sherman, also scheduled to become a free agent, in the Cris Collinsworth Podcast this week. Sherman predicts that Williams will be stopped in 2021.
“I put him in San Francisco for The Faithful,” said Sherman. “I think he stays in San Francisco. I think he makes you happy for another five (or) six years, takes your golden jacket and decides whether you want it in Washington or San Francisco.”
Of course, players are not introduced to the Professional Football Hall of Fame associated with a specific team. They are introduced as players and associated with all the teams they have played with during their professional career.
As for Sherman’s prediction, Williams didn’t seem to have a problem with that.
“This is not a bad decision, folks,” replied the Pro Bowl tackle eight times. “This is not a bad shot. You are all barking at the right tree.”
What about Sherman, who will almost certainly not return to the 49ers? What is the landing point that Williams predicts for his defensive teammate?
“I’m not going to lie, man. Rich is one of my favorite teammates I’ve ever had,” said Williams. “… I know that any locker room that will get it will be blessed. I would like to stay in the locker room with him because I know what he adds to a team.
“I think it’s going to be a team that wins now, that I feel like we’re on a team that wins now. Rico, he’s so smart. He can do it anywhere. He can fit in any locker room. Any crowd. So, I really I don’t see any limitations on it. “
Williams hesitated to name potential landing sites, but ended up discarding some options.
“I am still hopeful that he will return to any locker room I am in,” said Williams. “… I can see [the Kansas City Chiefs], going there and helping that defensive backfield. … I would like to see him somewhere where the weather is good, have a good salary, taxes are not hitting him.
“[The Las Vegas Raiders] sounds like a good team. I think the Indianapolis Colts. AFC has many good places there. As long as he doesn’t end up back in Seattle. … I definitely don’t want to see you twice a year, if I were in San Francisco. ”

The worst case scenario for the 49ers in this off-season would be to see left All-Pro player Trent Williams go free. In the last off-season, the team sent a choice in the third round for the Washington Football Team to acquire Williams, and then restructured its business to give it a small salary increase and included a text in the contract that stated that they would not use the franchise brand. him in 2021. Looking at the outstanding free agents in the tackle position, it is easy to see that Trent Williams is by far the best player available. Williams said he would like to return to the 49ers, which is good news, but he also wants to test the market to determine its value, which can be bad news. There are enough teams with room for maximum limits, even with a tight season, and a need

The San Francisco 49ers let wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders leave via a free agency after closing a mid-season deal with the Denver Broncos to acquire it. He was seen as a piece that could help elevate the team to a championship, and she came very close to achieving that last year. Can Trent Williams’ offensive attack also be definitive? Last year, San Francisco switched to Williams to replace Joe Staley, who was retiring, giving up drawing capital in the process. Williams is the most prominent name among the 49ers’ long list of impending free agents. Gregg Rosenthal of the NFL Network recently ranked his 101 best free agents in 2021. Williams entered

The San Francisco 49ers still has exclusive rights to negotiate with representatives from Trent Williams. That will change on March 15, when negotiations with other teams can begin. With no further reports of any progress in negotiations with San Francisco, it appears that Williams remains on the path to the open market. The 49ers had “extensive” contract negotiations with Williams representatives before the end of the team’s regular season. They hoped to avoid a situation in which the eight-time Pro Bowler approached the free agency. Obviously, that didn’t happen, and here we are. Williams and San Francisco have a mutual desire to be together. Still there

Creator: Rising demand for Trent Williams could lead 49ers to draft a tackle in 12th position

Assuming they were going all-in to return to the Super Bowl last season, the San Francisco 49ers switched offensive attack Trent Williams to replace retired Joe Staley. It was a good move for a team that felt it could not afford to fall into a key position in a squad that hoped to avenge defeat in Super Bowl LIV. Upon arriving, Williams immediately noticed the difference between the 49ers’ environment and the one he lived in Washington. Meeting with coach Kyle Shanahan rejuvenated the striker, who expected him to fall into a longtime home. “I didn’t see this situation as if I just wanted to come here for a year,” Williams
