Two of the organizations involved in the effort are the National Association of Christian Churches and the Black Service Chamber.

The North American winter storm from February 13 to 17, also known as Winter Storm Uri, started in the Pacific Northwest and quickly headed for the composer’s home state, Texas.

Record low temperatures have been recorded across much of the state, and snowstorms have affected many at-risk residents.

Severe conditions: the winter storm Uri started earlier this month and reached Scott State, Texas, where it brought extreme weather and caused widespread power outages.

Major power outages have also occurred in many cities and communities, leaving thousands of people without water or electricity during the weather event.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued a disaster declaration on February 12, which was approved by President Joe Biden two days later.

Although the Texas Electric Reliability Council restored electricity to some 600,000 Texans on February 17, the situation remains dire for millions of people.

As of last Sunday, at least 8.8 million residents were still under requests for boiling water, according to NBC News.

Houston and Austin were previously under water restrictions, although both cities were considered stable last week.

Scott created the Cactus Jack Foundation last year with the intention of enriching the lives of young people in the Houston area.

The foundation’s first initiative was to launch the HBCU Waymon Webster scholarship program, which aimed to cover expenses for university students who were financially affected by the global pandemic.

Last December, the Sicko Mode composer organized an event to drive toys in his hometown; Christmas trees and warm clothing were also distributed during the charity event.

Scott’s ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner and the Stormi couple’s three-year-old daughter also appeared during the toy trip.

The social media personality celebrated the event with a post made in her Instagram story, showing her son supporting his father during the function.
