Travis Barker is sharing more of his seemingly wonderful relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, revealing that the oldest idea in KarJenner’s brood of a romantic notion is apparently “destroying each other completely”.
Blink-182 drummer, 45, talked about dating Kardashian, 41, on Drew Barrymore’s talk show on CBS on Thursday, addressing the note – posted on his Instagram – that Kardashian left for him, which says: “For many fun adventures. May we destroy ourselves completely. Love, Kourtney. “
Barrymore joked with Barker – who referred to Kardashian only as his “lovely lady” – that his version of the note would be “’Can we go to bed early and watch a movie?’”
“I would prefer the opposite. I would rather, more or less, go [out] in the blaze of glory and ball of flame, ”Barker replied.
Barrymore also asked Barker about how dating someone with kids was different from his previous relationships, to which he replied, “I dated girls who had no children and I find it difficult because they would have a hard time understanding, like, ‘Why don’t you want to go have dinner with me every night? ‘or’ Why don’t you want to see me every night? ‘
“And now I am spending time with a woman who is a great mother, who is a great friend and you don’t have to worry about any of those things,” he continued.
Barker shares two children with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler: 17-year-old son Landon and 15-year-old daughter Alabama. He is also the stepfather of Moakler’s daughter with boxer Oscar De La Hoya, Atiana, 21. Kardashian has three children with ex Scott Disick: Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6.
“I also really like to miss someone and appreciate the time I spend with them instead of every day being with them, especially at the beginning of the relationship,” Barker added of his new relationship. “I think that missing someone is very important.”
Barker and Kardashian became Instagram officials in February, days after spending Valentine’s Day together. Page six confirmed that the couple, who had a long-standing friendship before consummating things, started dating in January.
