Thursday night: Clouds rise from the south as the next chance for snow approaches the south on Friday. Casualties drop to close to 10 with the wind shifting east at 5-10 mph.
Friday: It is a cloudy day with light snow spreading to the north in the morning. The snow continues in the afternoon and evening. Finally it decreases at midnight, Friday night. The amounts of snow are expected to be on the light side. The best chance of accumulated snow is south of a line from Cedar Rapids to Dubuque. Little or no snow is expected approximately north of that line. The wind is from the northeast at 10-15 mph with highs close to 30.
