Tracee Ells Ross shines in yellow suit and stilettos for beauty print – Footwear News

Tracee Ellis Ross continued to stay ahead of the trends this week by predicting one of the busiest color trends of the year.

The “High Note” actress posed for her Pattern Beaty line on Thursday, promoting her newest collection of treatment products in style. For the photo shoot, Ellis Ross modeled a two-tone yellow wrap blazer combined with pants in separate shades. The suit channeled the Pantone color experts’ choice from bright yellow to one of the top two shades of 2021, joining names like Kate Upton, Irina Shayk and Heidi Klum in leading the shade for the new season.

As for shoes, the actress decided to let her clothing speak for itself, putting on a nude pair of shoes. Although it was his clothes that stood out in color, the stilettos did not disappoint either, coming coated in a patent leather finish with a low heel and a steep heel measuring about 5 inches in height.

Wearing clothes has become the new norm among celebrity style trends so far, potentially led in part by first female Vice President Kamala Harris and her endless line of perfectly tailored suits. Ellis Ross herself is no stranger to a chic blazer and pants look. She recently chose the combo before Inauguration Day with an unexpected choice of shoes: “ugly” sandals.

Like clogs and sneakers, the “ugly” sandals experienced a revival among celebrity style trends and favorite shoes last year. The new appreciation for comfortable sandal styles comes with a greater desire for ease of use and stability in the fashion world amid the current environment – and for 2021, too, it seems that the trend is here to stay. Throughout his quarantined time, the “Black-Ish” star used social media as an outlet to connect with his fans about his “Black-Ish” series and everyday life. And even though blocking measures have eased, the star continued to give glimpses of the backstage-style moments from her TV series, as well as real-time glances at her home life and Asics tennis exercises.

As a modern-style figure, your closet doesn’t lack designer labels. Some of the luxury brands in their collection include Christopher John Rogers, Loewe and Christian Louboutin. She also starred in campaigns for Kenzo’s spring 1917 collection alongside Jessie Williams in “Grey’s Anatomy”.
