Hugo Lloris
Left standing helpless because of a Benteke header before the break and can say he had Zaha’s second shot that hit the covered post. I had nothing else to do. 6
Matt Doherty
It gave Milivojevic too much space to cross for Benteke’s leveler. He received an assist with his ball inside Kane for his 25-yard stunner. After Spurs’ third goal, he made some important interceptions to prevent Palace players from entering the Spurs area. 6
Davinson Sanchez
Good interception to prevent Van Aanholt from breaking free in the area before the break. He allowed Benteke to go after him for the Belgian’s goal before the break. Overall, however, another promising display. 7
Toby Alderweireld
Defeated in the air by Benteke to the Palace leveler before the break. Like Sanchez, the Belgian did little wrong by smothering the Palace. 7
Sergio Reguilon
He cut a volley to the side from a great position in the first half. It was his crossroads that Kane returned to Bale to wave home at the start of the second half. It gives Spurs that extra boost to the left and rhythm. 7
Harry Winks
A hectic turnaround for the team and he has 69 minutes on his resume. He was not going to be asked to play the role of Ndombele, but what he did was tidy and he tried to move the ball forward as far as possible. 7
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
He did the dirty work in front of the Spurs defense and continues to play for so many minutes for the team. He’s going to need a break at some point. 7
Gareth Bale
At its best from the start. He showed beautiful feet, shifting the ball from one to the other, to beat two defenders and make a cross in the six minutes that Son should have been able to. He finished off the opening goal on 25 minutes with a low pass from Kane. He was excellent in possession and crossed so that Reguilon should have made a shot before the break. He reached Kane’s header in the area, five minutes into the second half. He left with 20 minutes to finish his job. 9
Lucas moura
Excellent job to recover Kane’s ball to prepare Bale for the opening goal. He worked tirelessly and, although the final product was not always there overnight, it was his run that caused many of the team’s transitions to take place. 7
Son Heung-min
He sent an initial header to the goalkeeper after entering the space to receive a cross from Bale. He worked hard with a lot of pressure and with his cross for Kane to score Spurs’ fourth goal, he created a bit of Premier League history, as the double has 14 goals in the competition this season, beating Shearer and Sutton’s 13. 7
Harry Kane
Bale raising his game takes Kane to greater heights. He assisted in the 25th minute by hitting the Welshman perfectly with a low ball in the six-yard box. He added another assist with his header after crossing from Reguilon to Bale and then, not to be overshadowed, scored an incredible goal of his own with a 25-yard shot that nestled inside the left post. He headed home his second goal before leaving 10 minutes from time to complete a night that put two goals and two assists in his name and broke a record. 10
Subs
Erik Lamela
He threw Son a perfect ball in the palace area in preparation for Kane’s second goal. A shiny cameo from the bank. 7
Moussa Sissoko
He replaced Winks and kept energy levels high in the center of the field. 6
Carlos Vinicius
He replaced Kane in the last 10 minutes and he didn’t see much of the ball. N / A
