Earlier this month, Activision announced Crash Bandicoot 4 would come to the Nintendo Switch in March.
As exciting as it was, it also had many fans speculating what else Activision might bring to the Switch in the future. Another game that has been requested repeatedly is last year’s remake of Tony Hawk professional skater 1 + 2.
If anyone can make that happen, it has to be the Birdman himself, Tony Hawk. In a single tweet, he mentioned how he had heard about Crash 4 coming to “new platforms” and was “kind of jealous”, asking Crash to turn on his game.
Nintendo of America took note of Tony’s comment retweeted and then Activision and Crash Bandicoot’s Twitter account joined in the fun. It is important to note that the Switch is the only console platform on which the new Tony Hawk game has not yet been released.
Last year, in August, there was a rumor about the switch control options hidden within the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 demo. Of course, this led to speculation that the game would eventually make the leap to the Nintendo system.
In more recent times, Vicarious Visions (the team behind Crash and Tony) was merged into Blizzard and is now working on the recently announced title Diablo II: resurrected. Would you like to see Tony’s last game land on the Switch? Leave a comment below.
