Fox Nation presenter Tomi Lahren issued a scathing condemnation to Apple, Amazon and Google for suspending the social media platform Parler on Monday, saying “Outnumbered” that Big Tech is essentially telling conservatives to “shut up” .
She added that conservatives need to say to Big Tech, “Let’s not shut up.”
TOMI LAHREN: What Big Tech is essentially telling us and the Democrats on the left are saying to us is, ‘Shut up or else, shut up or else we’re going to deplore you, shut up or else we’re going to censor you, shut up the mouth or else we’ll remove any of the other platforms you’ve created. Shut up. ‘
They don’t want us to talk about electoral integrity. They don’t want us to talk about electoral fraud. They don’t want us to talk about President Trump. They don’t want us to talk about conservative values and principles all together.
And I know there are some people who would say, ‘Oh no, there are others who are still on Twitter. Mitch McConnell is still there. No, but you are forgetting that there are so many other Americans out there who are already afraid to say anything and their only means of communication, because they would never be touched by the mainstream media, it was social media and now they have removed Parler.
This is a clear message for conservatives: shut up. And we need to send a clear message back: Let’s not shut up. They need to understand this. If we need to continue making platforms and do it responsibly and safely, we will do it and hope that someone will get out of the hole.
I know you’ve been talking a lot about Elon Musk and others who are capable of possibly creating a platform that is safe, that is responsible, that is respectful and gives a voice to everyone, not just conservatives, not just those on the left, but for everyone, the way Twitter should work, but it never has.
