Hanks previously showed his shaved head in the state Late show with Stephen Colbert. During an interview earlier this month, he explained that he had to use the razor and wear a series of wigs to portray Presley’s longtime businessman, whom Hanks described as “a genius and a scoundrel”. The actor joked that the actors playing the gorillas in Monkey’s Planet spent less time in the makeup chair than he did.
